We started this book club in November 2007, as a way to combine our two biggest passions - food exploration and reading. We choose a book as a group, and then meet monthly to discuss the book over a themed meal. The host is responsible for researching and preparing an authentic meal based on the book's time period and setting. We periodically meet at restaurants, keeping in the mind the essence of the book we've read. Our members are Sukeshi, Alpa, Mona, Purni, Ritu, Anitha and Sheetal. We've created so many wonderful memories, and this site allows us to share our experiences with others who may enjoy similar interests.

Included on this site are the books we have read and our opinions, as well as menus and favorite recipes, and the restaurants we have visited.

Please stop by our survey and opinion pages and let us know your ideas about the books, menus, and recipes, as well as suggestions for future book club meetings.
